Sony recently lifted the lid on its new international flagship, the Sony XPERIA Z3+ (identical to the Japanese-exclusive XPERIA Z4). Now, the smartphone is available for pre-order in the UK.
In the UK, there are 4 retailers that have put the Sony XPERIA Z3+ up for pre-order. Amazon is asking £549.99 for the smartphone, Clove wants £549.00, Handtec has put the handset up for pre-order for £545.99, and Mobile Fun is asking £549.00.
To recap, the Sony XPERIA Z3+ sports a a 5.2-inch Triluminos screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels (pixel density of 424 ppi), a 20.7-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 32 GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (support for as much as 128 GB), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor with four cores clocked at 2 GHz and four cores clocked at 1.5 GHz, an Adreno 430 GPU, 3 GB of RAM, and a 2,930 mAh battery. It has an IP 65/68 rating for dust and waterproofing. IP68 means that the phone can be submerged in water as deep as 3 meters (9.8 feet) without getting damaged. It measures 146.3 x 71.9 x 6.9 mm and weighs in at 144 g. It runs Android 5.0 (Lollipop) out of the box.
