Last week, Sony lifted the lid on its new selfie-centric smartphone, the XPERIA C4, successor of the 2014’s XPERIA C3. The smartphone will not be available in stores until next month. Until then, check out the smartphone’s first promotional video to see what it is all about.
This promotional video shows the dual SIM variant of the XPERIA C4, hence the “Dual” moniker. It sports an “anti-scratch and crisp” 5.5-inch 1080p screen, a “5 MP smart social selfie camera” as its front-facing camera, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera. The video also shows off the smartphone’s “elegant and ultra slim design.”
Here’s the video:
Other specs include 16 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, a 64-bit MediaTek MTK6752 octa-core processor with each core clocked at 1.7 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, LTE support, Sony 3D Surround Sound technology, 2 GB of RAM, and a 2,600 mAh battery. It runs Android 5.0 (Lollipop) out of the box. Colour options include black, white, and mint.
Unfortunately, Sony is yet to officially announce pricing or what specific markets will the XPERIA C4 be launched. However, judging from these specs, the smartphone is likely to belong in the mid-range market.
Looking forward to the Sony XPERIA C4? Phones LTD will let you know if or when the smartphone will be launched in the UK.
