French-speaking NWE has leaked photos of a Sony-made device with model number “E6553.” We’ve learned from past reports that the E6553 is believed to be the yet to be announced Sony XPERIA Z4, Sony’s next flagship.
Word on the street is, the Sony XPERIA Z4 will sport a 5.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, a 20.7-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 32-64 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot (previous reports claimed it would not come with the feature), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor with four cores clocked at 2 GHz and four cores clocked at 1.5 GHz, an Adreno 430 GPU, 3 GB of RAM, and a non-removable 3,400 mAh battery. It is said to be IP68-certified just like its predecessor, which means it can be submerged in a meter of water for as much as 30 minutes. It is said to measure 146.3 x 71.9 x 7.2 mm. It will run Android 5.0 (Lollipop) out of the box.
