Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus to be available for pre-order in South Korea on August 20?

A report is claiming to know when the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus (phablet version of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge) will be available for pre-order. Well, in South Korea at least.


The news comes to us courtesy of The Korea Times. According to the report, Samsung will be putting the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus up for pre-order on the 20th of August.

To recap, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus sports a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED Gorilla Glass 4-protected screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (QHD), a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie-centric camera, 32 GB to 64 GB of internal storage, no microSD card slot, Samsung’s Exynos 7420 octa-core processor with a Mali-T760 MP8 GPU to handle graphics, 4 GB of RAM, and a 3,000 mAh battery. It will be 6.9 mm thick and weigh in at 156 g. It will be 7.6 mm thick and weigh in at 169 g. It will run Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) out of the box It will not come with an S Pen. Like the S6 and S6 Edge, it will be clad in metal and glass for that more premium look and feel.
