Samsung Galaxy Alpha sponsors regatta in Moscow

Samsung just sponsored a regatta in Moscow, and guess what was printed on the one of the advertising signs? The sign read “Samsung Galaxy Alpha” Regatta, confirming that the device does exist and is ready to make its debut. The photos you see below were published by hi-tech.mail.ru.

According to past reports, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha sports a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED 720p screen, a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, 32GB of internal storage, no microSD card slot, Samsung’s Exynos 5 Octa or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 1850mAh battery. The device will run Android 4.4.4 (KitKat) out of the box and will be clad in a metal chassis. It is said to be a direct competitor of the Apple iPhone 6.

The Samsung Galaxy Alpha is said to make its debut as early as next week.
