We’ve been hearing a lot about the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 as of late, and now a render of the phablet as well as cases made for the device have been leaked on Twitter.
The alleged render and photos showing the Samsung Galaxy Note 5’s transparent cases were leaked by @OnLeaks, a Twitter account renowned for leaking information on yet to be announced devices.
The renders don’t reveal very much about the Galaxy Note 4, but the transparent cases do reveal a few details about the device. Specifically, the cases show a large cutout on the back, which is likely for the rear-facing camera, LED flash, and heart rate sensor. There are also four cutouts found at the bottom, which are likely for the S Pen Stylus, speaker, charging port, and 3.5 headset jack. Cutouts also reveals that the Note 5’s power button may be located on the right side and volume keys on the left side just like its predecessor the Note 4.
According to previous reports, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will sport a 5.9-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD) and will be 7.9 mm thin, thinner than the Note 4 at 8.5 mm, but thicker that the Galaxy S6 at 6.8 mm. It is expected to be released in September.
Of course, since we can’t confirm if the render and cases are legit, take this with a pinch of salt.
