It seems the Motorola Droid Turbo will soon make its debut, as Twitter account @MotoFirmware has leaked photos of the device and its packaging. Note that Motorola Droid device drop the “Droid” moniker, once they hit the UK or other markets.

If you’re unfamiliar with the Motorola Turbo, it is a monster of a smartphone and one of the most highly-anticipated handsets of 2014. The device is rumoured to sport a 5.2-inch screen with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels (Quad HD) and a whopping pixel density of 565ppi, a 20.7-megapixel front-facing camera, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 2.7GHz quad-core processor with an Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB of RAM, and a 3900mAh battery. This massive battery is said power the device for two days on just a single charge. If you think charging this battery will take longer than usual, think again. With just 15 minutes of charging, you get 8 hours of battery life. This is said to be one of the smartphone’s main features.
Motorola is expected to lift the lid on the Turbo towards the end of the month.
