The Motorola Moto G (2015) (also known as the Moto G 3rd Gen) has been making rounds in the rumour mill as of late, with new photos allegedly showing the unannounced budget smartphone. In this latest leak, the photos reveal that the device will come with a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 CPU under the hood.
The photos above were leaked on Twitter by AbrahamZT (@abrahamzt89). The device in the photos is said to be a prototype of the Moto G (2015), and looks exactly like what we’ve been seeing thanks to past leaks (same metal plate on the rear and a patterned rear cover for a better grip).
One of the photos reveals that the Moto G (2015) will carry the model number XT1542 and that this version supports 4G LTE connectivity. It also reveals that the smartphone will have a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 CPU under the hood. Lastly, the amount of RAM is said to range from 1 GB to 2 GB. It’s likely that this LTE version sports 2 GB of RAM.
Other rumoured specs include a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, dual front-facing speakers, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash (confirmed by the photos), and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Moto G 2nd Gen comes with an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera.
Motorola is expected to lift the lid on the Moto G (2015) soon.
