Google Nexus 6 (Motorola Shamu) benchmarked – sports QHD screen and Snapdragon 805

Dutch-speaking TechTastic has spotted the Google Nexus 6 (aka the Motorola Shamu) listed at the GFXBench‘s database.

According to the site, the Nexus 6 will sport a 1080p screen and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor. However, we can’t confirm this with the screenshot provided.

Here, TechTastic shows us a screenshot (see below) from the AnTuTu benchmarking database. It shows the Shamu sporting a Snapdragon 805 CPU with an Adreno 420 GPU, a 5.2-inch screen QHD (1440×2560 pixels) screen, a 13-megapixel rear-facin camera, a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, and 3GB of RAM. It runs the latest version Android L out of the box.

If these specs are accurate, then this changes everything. With these specs, the Shamu would beat today’s flagships such as LG G3, Samsung Galaxy S5 when it comes to performance.

Of course, since this anything but official, take it with a pinch of salt.
