The news comes to us courtesy of Android Police. According to the report, aside from the 32 GB and the 64 GB storage options, there will be a larger 128 GB option of the Huawei Nexus 6P. Sadly, we’re guessing that since a 128 GB storage option will be available, the phablet will not come with a microSD card slot, just like its predecessor the Motorola-made Nexus 6. It would also make sense for the phablet not to come with a microSD card slot, since Google would prefer Nexus owners to make use of its cloud services rather than microSD cards.

Google is also expected to lift the lid on a new Nexus smartphone this year – the yet to be announced LG Nexus 5X. The device is expected to be available in 16 GB and 32 GB storage options. It is yet to be determined if the device will be available in a 128 GB option.

As for specs, the Huawei Nexus 6P is expected to come with a 5.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). In the photography department, the device is said to sport a 12-megapixel rear-facing and an 8-megapixel selfie-centric front-facing camera combo. For your storage needs, the phablet is said to offer 32 GB of internal storage. Under the hood is said to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor with four cores clocked at 2 GHz, four cores clocked at 1.5 GHz, and an Adreno 430 GPU, coupled with 3 GB of RAM. To keep the lights on, the phablet is said to come with a 3,500 mAh battery. Like any Nexus device, the Nexus 6P will run Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) in stock form. Lastly, the phablet is said to come with a fingerprint scanner on the back of the device.

Google has announced that it will be hosting a press event at 9 a.m. PT on the 29th of September. At the event, we’re expecting the LG-made Nexus 5X smartphone and the Huawei-made Nexus 6P phablet to make their official debut. Past reports have revealed that the two will be available for pre-order via Google Play on the 13th of October.

Of course, since this is anything but official, take this with a pinch of salt.
