The HTC Hima is the Taiwanese phone maker’s rumoured upcoming flagship. According to a new report, the “HTC Hima Ace Plus” will be the HTC Hima’s phablet version. It has also leaked the device’s specs.
The rumoured HTC Hima Ace Plus’ specs were leaked by Portuguese-speaking 4GNews. According to the site, the device will sport a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD), no side bezels, stereo BoomSound speakers on the top and bottom, a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 4-megapixel ultrapixel front-facing camera, 32 GB of internal storage (no mention of a microSD card slot but since the HTC One (M8) sports one it’s likely that the Hima Ace Plus will sport one as well), a 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor, 3 GB of RAM, and a 3,000 mAh battery. The device is said to run Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with HTC’s Sense 7 UI slapped on top. Additionally, the HTC Hima Ace Plus is said to include a fingerprint scanner that works even when the screen if off.
So when do we get to see the HTC Hima Ace Plus? According to the report, HTC will launch the device in either August or September.
Of course, since this is anything but official, take it with a pinch of salt.
