We’ve already heard form past reports that the HTC One (M9) (rumoured to be code named the HTC Hima) will sport Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor and a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera. A new report is saying that the Taiwanese phone maker’s next flagship will sport Dolby audio as well.
The news comes to us courtesy of Bloomberg. Aside from claiming that the HTC One (M9) will sport a Snapdragon 810 CPU, a 20-megapixel snapper, and Dolby audio, the business news agency’s source also says that the M9 will resemble the M8 in terms of design. This suggests that it may sport the same 5-inch screen just like its predecessor. Lastly, the source says that HTC’s next flagship will be available in the same gold, gray, and silver colour options just like its predecessor. Also expect the same aluminium unibody.
Unfortunately, we can’t confirm if this report is accurate. So take it with a pinch of salt.
HTC is expected to lift the lid on the HTC One (M9), HTC Hima, or whatever the Taiwanese phone maker ends up calling its next flagship in March at MWC 2015 in Barcelona, Spain.
HTC is also rumoured to lift the lid on its first smartwatch alongside the M9.
