According to previous reports, the HTC One (M9), rumoured to be code named HTC Hima, will sport a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera. Now, leaked photos allegedly show a prototype of the device. The alleged prototype shows a device that looks strikingly similar to the HTC One (M8). However, the difference is this device sports a massive rear-facing camera. HTC’s 2014 flagship sports a rear-facing Duo Camera.
The images you see above come to us courtesy of French-speaking site NWE, a site renowned for leaking accurate information on yet to be released devices.
Word on the street is the HTC One (M9) will sport a 5-inch with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD), a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera, Dolby 5.1 audio tech, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor. It will run Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Sense 7 (the latest version of HTC’s Sense UI) slapped on top.
Of course, we can’t confirm if the photo sent to NWE by its source is the real deal, so take it with a pinch of salt.
The HTC One (M9) is expected to make its debut at MWC 2015, which kicks off in Barcelona, Spain in early March.
