Thanks to previous leaks, we know that HTC is cooking up a slightly bigger and more premium version of the HTC One M9 – the HTC One M9+. Now, a high-res render of the device has been leaked on Twitter.
The image you see above was leaked by leak artist @upleaks. The render is consistent with previous leaked images of the device we’ve come across in the past.
As for the HTC One M9+’s specs, it is rumoured to sport a 5.2-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD) (pixel density of 534 ppi), a 21-megapixel and a 2.1-megapixel rear-facing Duo Camera with dual LED flash, a 4-megapixel front-facing camera, 32 GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (as much as 128 GB), and 3 GB of RAM. As for the processor, some markets are said to get the version with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor (four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz and four Cortex-A57 clocked at 2 GHz) with an Adreno 430 GPU, while other markets (presumably Asia) are said to get a version with a MediaTek MT6795 octa-core processor (four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz and four Cortex-A57 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz) with a PowerVR G6200 GPU under the hood. It is said to measure 150.9 x 72.5 x 10.15 mm. It will run Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with the Sense 7 UI slapped on top.
So when do we get to see the HTC One M9+? HTC will be hosting a press event on the 8th of April in Beijing, China. The smartphone is expected to make an appearance at the event.
