Google has just lifted the lid on three entry-level smartphones under its new Android One program. These are the Karbonn Sparkle V, Spice Android One Dream UNO Mi-498, and Micromax Canvas A1, meaning Karbonn, Spice, and Micromax are Google’s partners under the program. Now we know that there are more manufacturers who have signed up for the program.
Device manufacturers include HTC, Lenovo, Asus, and Acer, Alcatel, Panasonic, Intex, Lava, and Xolo. Chip makers Qualcomm and MediTek have also signed up for the program.
The first three Android One smartphones will be first seen in India.
Phones LTD is yet to find out when Android One handsets will be available in the UK.
