We know from previous reports that HTC has code named its next flagship Hima (HTC One (M9)). Reports also said that the upcoming smartphone would pack a lot of horses under the hood, and now the device has paid a visit to benchmark database AnTuTu, which was first spotted by GizmoChina.
The listing reveals that the HTC Hima sports a 5-inch 1080p screen (not a Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) screen that was previously rumoured), a 20.7-megapixel rear-facing camera (most probably made by Sony), a 13-megapixel front-facing camera, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor with an Adreno 430 GPU, and 3 GB of RAM. It runs Android 5.0.1 (Lollipop) out of the box with HTC’s Sense UI slapped on top.
Of course, since none of this is official, take it with a pinch of salt. Fortunately, if reports hold water, we won’t have to wait very long to find out if the rumours are true, as HTC is reportedly planning to lift the lid on the Hima at CES 2015 in January.
