Cat B15Q, toughest KitKat-powered smartphone in the world, costs around £318 in Europe

The Cat B15Q is the toughest Android 4.4 (KitKat)-powered smartphone ever built. It can remain operational at subzero temperatures of up to -25°C and smoldering temperatures of up to 55 °C. It can survive a drop from 1.8 meters and is water and dust resistant. Now the device is being sold for around £318 in Europe. Well, in Germany at least.


The listing was spotted in Amazon Germany. According to the product page, the Cat B15Q will set you back €399 or around £318.

Aside from the handset being tough as nails, the B15Q also sports decent specs. It sports a 4-inch WVGA screen with wet finger tracking, 4GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, a VGA front-facing camera, a 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, and 1GB of RAM.
