According to an alleged iPhone 6 hardware schematic, the upcoming iPhone will come with 1GB of RAM.
The document you see above was first spotted by Chinese-speaking GeekBar then shared by Chinese Twitter equivalent Weibo.
The document reads “POP-FIJI-1GB-DDR-BO-BGA,” which suggests the iPhone 6 will sport 1GB of RAM.
Although the source of this information is known for leaking accurate information on yet-to-be-announced iDevices, still take it with a pinch of salt. Furthermore, since most Android flagships come with 2GB of RAM, it wouldn’t make sense for Apple’s next flagship to only come wtih 1GB of RAM.
Fortunately, September 9 is just around the corner, so we won’t have to wait very long to find out if the the rumours are true or not.
