Images showing the schematics and molds of the Apple iPhone 6 have been leaked on Chinese-speaking SinaWeibo. This suggests that Foxconn is gearing up for mass production of the device.
The initial images show us highly technical schematics of the iPhone 6’s body, which seems to get into every detail of the device. Earlier reports have said that Apple is planning to launch a 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch version of the new iPhone, but we can’t tell which version is seen here.
The last two images show the iPhone 6’s alleged molds. If these molds are legit, then this would mean that Foxconn is getting ready to mass produce the chassis smartphone.
According to past reports, the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 will go into production in July, while the 5.5-inch version will go into production in September.
Of course, since there’s no way to confirm if these schematics and molds are legit or not, take this with a pinch of salt.
Stay tuned for further updates.
