According to a tweet, Microsoft is jumping into the selfie-centric bandwagon, as the software giant is said to cooking up its first Lumia handset with a front-facing flash.

The new rumour comes to us courtesy of leak artist Evan Blass (aka @evleaks). He asked on Twitter, “Has there yet been a Windows Phone with a front-facing flash?” He then responded to onlookers that the question was actually masked as a teaser. Sadly, Blass failed to reveal more details on the mystery selfie-centric Lumia device.

So when do we get to see the mystery Lumia handset with a front-facing LED flash? We still don’t have any information on when the device will make its debut, but we’re guessing that, with Windows 10 just around the corner, the device will be available later this fall powered by Windows 10 Mobile.

If you’re asking yourself if the rumour is accurate or not, all we can say is that it remains to be seen. All we can tell you is that Microsoft is planning to focus more on entry-level, business, and high-end Lumia devices.
