LG G4 Pro to be clad in metal?

The LG G4 (shown below) is now available, with a premium version sporting a leather back cover. The South Korean smartphone maker is reportedly planning to lift the lid on another high-end device – the LG G4 Pro. So will this upcoming smartphone be clad in leather as well. According to a new report, it will be clad in metal.


The news comes to us courtesy of ET News. According to the site, LG is planning to construct the rumoured LG G4 Pro out of metal to differentiate the smartphone from the LG G4. LG’s current flagship is available comes with a removable plastic back cover. If you’re looking for a more premium look and feel, you can change the plastic back cover for a leather back cover.

The report says that the LG G4 Pro will be clad in metal to differentiate it from the LG G4, but it is yet to be determined what other features will make the device “Pro.” Based on the 2014’s LG G Pro 2 with its 5.9-inch screen, we’re guessing that the G4 Pro will sport a larger screen that the 5.5-inch screen of the regular G4. It is also said that the G4 Pro will come with a stylus to rival Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and its S Pen.

Of course, since this is anything but official, take this with a pinch of salt.
