Last week we heard of the Sony XPERIA E4, which is rumoured to be another smartphone out of the Japanese phone maker. Now the said device has been pictured alongside the XPERIA Z1 Compact.
The photos seen above come to us courtesy of Polish-speaking site Teleguru. In the photos, the XPERIA E4 (said to be a prototype) with its 5-inch screen with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels is compared to the 4.3-inch screen of the XPERIA Z1 Compact. Although a prototype, the site says that the final design will not be that different.
Aside from the reported 5-inch screen, the rumoured XPERIA E4 is said to also sport a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera, 8 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, a MediTek MT6582 quad-core processor with each core clocked at 1.3 GHz, and 1 GB of RAM. It runs Android 4.4.4 (KitKat) out of the box. We’re guessing it will updated to Android 5.0 (Lollipop) shortly after its launch.
According to previous reports, Sony will lift the lid on the XPERIA E4 at MWC 2015, which kicks off in Barcelona, Spain in March. The Japanese firm is said to be planning to launch the device later during the same month. As for pricing, it is said to cost less than £130.
