A new leak reveals a few more details about the upcoming Sony XPERIA Z4. It reveals that the Japanese phone maker’s new flagship will sport a 5.2-inch screen and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 processor.
The screenshots you see above were sent to PhoneArena by a tipster that is a “fairly aggravated Sony insider,” sending the site what is claimed to be an “internal presentation” detailing the XPERIA Z4 in response to the “wild rumours” that been circulating in the internet. The shots of a computer screen were allegedly taken from one of Sony’s labs.
Before anything else, the site notes that there are a lot of misspelled words in the leak, but this is understandable since the English may not have been the first language of the people behind the document.
Going back to the leak, the Z4 is said to sport a 5.2-inch 1080p screen and not the previously reported 5.4 to 5.5-inch Quad HD Triluminow screen. Additionally, in the chip department, the smartphone is said to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor under the hood and not the Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core CPU that was previously reported.
Unfortunately, there’s no way for us verify if the leak is accurate, but at least we won’t have to wait very long to find out, as the Z4 is expected to make its debut at CES 2015 in Las Vegas that kicks off less than a month from now.
