According to past reports, Sony is cooking up a 5.5-inch phablet codenamed Lavender, which is said to be unveiled as the Sony XPERIA C5 Ultra, successor of the 5.5-inch XPERIA C4 with front-facing LED flash. It seems the C5 Ultra will inherit its predecessor’s front-facing LED flash, if a manual is to be believed.
The Sony XPERIA C5 Ultra’s manual seen above comes to us courtesy of XperiaBlog. Aside from confirming that the phablet will come with a front-facing LED flash, it also confirms that the device will sport a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera. Other rumoured specs include a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, a 13-megapixel front-facing selfie-centric camera, a MediaTek 64-bit octa-core processor, and 2 GB of RAM.
Aside from revealing the front-facing LED flash and rear-facing camera, the photos in the manual also reveal that the XPERIA C5 Ultra will come with extremely thin side bezels.
Unfortunately, the leaked manual doesn’t reveal when Sony is planning to lift the lid on the XPERIA C5 Ultra or when it plans to launch the phablet. We’re guessing that the device will make its official debut at IFA 2015, which kicks off in Berlin, Germany in September.
