Japanese carrier posts heat warnings for Sony XPERIA Z4 (XPERIA Z3+)

Does the Sony XPERIA Z4 (Japan) or the Sony XPERIA Z3+ (international) overheat? Earlier, a video revealed that the XPERIA Z3+ still suffers from overheating issues, despite using MSM8994-v2.1. MSM8994 is the model number of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, whcih is a 64-bit octa-core processor with four cores clocked at 2 GHz, four cores clocked at 1.5 GHz, and an Adreno 430 GPU. Now, Japanese-speaking LineQ.jp has revealed that Japanese network operator DoCoMo is warning owners and potential buyers of the Z4 of overheating issues.

If you’re unfamiliar with the Sony XPERIA Z3+, the smartphone sports a 5.2-inch Triluminos screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels (pixel density of 424 ppi), a 20.7-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5.1-megapixel front-facing camera, 32-64 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot (support for as much as 128 GB), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor with four cores clocked at 2 GHz and four cores clocked at 1.5 GHz, an Adreno 430 GPU, 3 GB of RAM, and a non-removable 2,930 mAh battery. It is clad in metal. It is IP6 certified for dust and IP5 and IP8 certified for water.This means it can be submerged in 4.92 feet for as long as 30 minutes. It measure 146 x 72 x 6.9 mm and weighs in at 144 g. It runs Android 5.0 (Lollipop) out of the box.
