Sony is not expected to lift the lid on the Sony XPERIA Z4, its upcoming flagship today at MWC 2015 in Barcelona, Spain. So what does it have in store for us at the trade show. Leaked images show us what we are likely to see at the trade show.
The images, courtesy of Xperia Blog, you see above show a smartphone and a tablet. We’ve already learned thanks to previous reports that Sony is planning to lift the lid on the XPERIA Z4 Tablet at the trade show. We know that the image of the smartphone doesn’t show the XPERIA Z4, so what could it be? It is believed that the smartphone is the XPERIA M4 Aqua, the successor of the mid-range XPERIA M2 Aqua. It is yet to be determined why Sony skipped the M3 Aqua.
According to previous leaks, the Z4 Tablet will be “extremely thin” and sport a “2K display” (Quad HD resolution) and “the latest ultra fast processor” (possibly Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor). It is also expected to sport 32 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, and 4 GB of RAM. It will run Android 5.0 (Lollipop) out of the box.
Specs of the M4 Aqua are yet to be determined. It’s a dead cert, however, that the smartphone will be waterproof just like its predecessor.
