Sony has lifted the lid on the Japanese-exclusive XPERIA Z4, and Russian-speaking mobiletelefon.ru has published photos showing the actual device. Some of the photos compare the Z4 with the Z3. Check them out below.
According to a recent report, Sony is planning to lift the lid on a flagship for the rest of the world in May. It adds that the device will be slightly different compared to the Japanese XPERIA Z4, but failed to mention these differences.
To recap, the Japanese XPERIA Z4 sports a 5.2-inch Triluminos screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels (pixel density of 424 ppi), a 20.7-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5.1-megapixel front-facing camera, 32-64 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot (support for as much as 128 GB), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor with four cores clocked at 2 GHz and four cores clocked at 1.5 GHz, an Adreno 430 GPU, 3 GB of RAM, and a non-removable 2,930 mAh battery. It is clad in metal. It is IP6 certified for dust and IP5 and IP8 certified for water.This means it can be submerged in 4.92 feet for as long as 30 minutes. It measure 146 x 72 x 6.9 mm and weighs in at 144 g. It runs Android 5.0 (Lollipop) out of the box.
