According to the patent application, Write on PDF is a:

According to previous reports, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will sport a 5.9-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD) and will be 7.9 mm thin, thinner than the Note 4 at 8.5 mm, but thicker that the Galaxy S6 at 6.8 mm. It is expected to be released in September.

Of course, there’s no way of telling if this S Pen functionality will be on board the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 or not, since not all patents see the light of day.
