Samsung is expected to lift the lid on the Galaxy Note 5, its next high-end phablet on the 13th of August at its Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event in New York City. That’s less than a week away, and now the teasers are starting to show up. Samsung has already posted two teasers of what to expect at the event. Now, Taiwan Mobile has teased a super slim Note 5 and S Pen (see below).
Here’s what we know so far about the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. We’ve learned that specs include a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (QHD), a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera with a 1/2.6″ sensor with OIS (optical image stabilisation), a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie-centric camera, Samsung’s Exynos 7420 or 7422 CPU under the hood, and 4 GB of RAM. The Note 5 will not be available in an edged version, like the Note 4 and the Note Edge. Instead, the Korean tech giant will launch the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, which is a phablet version of the Galaxy S6 Edge. The S6 Edge Plus will not come with an S Pen.
