Case maker Spigen has been known to create accurate renders of unannounced devices clad in its new protective cases. This was the case with the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, when the two were yet to be announced. It seems that Spigen is at it again, creating renders of the unannounced Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus (phablet version of the Galaxy S6 Edge).
Do these renders show the real deal? Sadly, there’s no way for us to confirm this, but, since Spigen has been right with the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge, it could be right on the button with the unannounced Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.
To recap, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is expected to come with a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (QHD), a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera with a 1/2.6″ sensor with OIS (optical image stabilisation), a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie-centric camera, Samsung’s Exynos 7420 or 7422 CPU under the hood, and 4 GB of RAM. Although it is expected to be a high-end phablet, it is not expected to come with an S Pen stylus.
Samsung is expected to lift the lid on the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus alongside the Galaxy Note 5 on the 13th of August in New York City at its Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event.
