SM-G901 rumoured to be the model number of the European variant of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime

We’ve come across leaked information suggesting that a Samsung-made device with model number SM-G901 will be a variant of the rumoured Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime (an upgrade to the regular S5 with a QHD (1440×2560 pixels) screen, metal case, and more powerful processor) for Europe.

This new information comes from master leaker @evleaks. The master leaker adds that the colour options to be available in Europe include blue, black, white, and gold.

Aside from the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime for Europe, he also suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active may be called the “Galaxy S5 Sport.”

Of course, since Samsung is yet to officially unveil the Galaxy S5 Prime, take this with a pinch of salt. However, given @evleaks reputation, this rumour may be accurate.

If the rumours about the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime are true, the Korean tech giant may launch the said handset at around the same time LG launches the LG G3, which also sports a QHD screen. The LG G3 is expected to hit shops in June, after its unveiling on the 27th of May.
