Christmas is just days away, so it makes sense for major device manufacturers to put marketing in full gear in an attempt to get more shoppers to buy their devices as gifts for loved ones. This is exactly what Samsung has done in their new ad called “Holiday Dreams.” Like any ad done by the Korean tech giant, it shows why it is kings when marketing is concerned.
What makes this ad so special? Samsung uses 74 devices to make the ad. The devices include Samsung’s Tizen-powered Gear S smartwatch (a smartwatch that can make or receive calls thanks to its SIM card slot), the Galaxy Note 4, the Galaxy Note Edge, the Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and the Galaxy Tab S 8.4. Samsung also uses its new 65-inch curved TV.

It’s pretty clear that Samsung’s new ad required a lot of planning. Although the animation wasn’t that cutting edge, it did require a lot of choreography to pull off. In the add, we see a number of devices, flipping and turning from every possible angle to give a seemingly simple animation an eye-catching edge. In the end, the Holiday Dream did manage to get us into the spirit of Christmas.
