Samsung has just announced that its Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event will kick off on the 13th of August at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in New York City. The doors will open at 10:00, with the presentation beginning at 11:00 (EDT). Samsung will livestream the event on www.youtube.com/samsungmobile.
Samsung doesn’t mention which device (or devices) to expect at the event on the 13th of August, but we’re guessing we’ll see the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus make their official debut at the event. The image seen above shows a curved shape, which could be referring to the S6 Edge Plus.
As for specs, both the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus are expected to sport a 5.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD), a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, Samsung’s Exynos 7420 CPU under the hood, and 4 GB of RAM. The Galaxy S6 Edge is expected to sport a curved screen just like the regular S6 Edge, but no S Pen. The Galaxy Note 5 is rumoured not to come with an edged version just like the Note 4 and Note Edge, but it will come with the S Pen.
