Samsung is expected to lift the lid on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and 8.4 in a special event on the 12th of June. According to reports, these new tablets will sport AMOLED screen with resolutions of 2560×1600 pixels. According to a listing, these tablets will be more expensive than the already pricey Galaxy TabPRO series.
The listing comes from Multitronic (1 & 2), a Finnish retailer. According to the listing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 Wi-Fi plus 4G will set you back €681.90 (around £552), while the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 Wi-Fi will cost €563.90 (around £456). The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 Wi-Fi plus 4G will set you back €563.90 (around £456), while the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 Wi-Fi will cost €449.90 (around £364). For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 Wi-Fi will set you back £279, while the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 Wi-Fi will cost you £379.
Of course, since Samsung is yet to announce their new Galaxy Tab S series, these prices aren’t official yet. Still, since it does cost more to make large AMOLED screens, these prices are likely to be accurate.
