According to a report, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will come with a new and improved “People Edge” feature.
On the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, People Edge allows you to store as much as five contacts on the edged screen. It also adds a similar page for apps. This allows users to simply tap on the edge to launch apps or access contacts.
According to Phone-probe.com, the People Edge feature has been updated on the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Tapping on a contact gives you six options. These include calling, video chatting, messaging, emailing, sending a picture, and sending an emoticon. Currently, the S6 Edge allows you to send a message, make a call or send an email.
To recap, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is said to sport a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED Gorilla Glass 4-protected screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (QHD), a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie-centric camera, 32 GB to 64 GB of internal storage, no microSD card slot, Samsung’s Exynos 7420 octa-core processor with a Mali-T760 MP8 GPU to handle graphics, 4 GB of RAM, and a 3,000 mAh battery. It will be 6.9 mm thick and weigh in at 156 g. It will be 7.6 mm thick and weigh in at 169 g. It will run Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) out of the box. It will not come with an S Pen.
Samsung is expected to lift the lid on the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, alongside the Galaxy Note 5 and a mystery tablet, on the 13th of August at its Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event in New York City.
