The Samsung Galaxy S5 is IP67-cetified, which means it can be submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes and still function normally. TechSmart has posted a video on YouTube, putting the Korean tech giant’s new flagship through an ultimate water test.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 ultimate water test involves submerging the smartphone in a pool for an hour, going beyond the 30-minute limit of its IP67 certification. TechSmart wasn’t finished. It also subjects the S5 to another extreme water test. It leaves the handset spinning around in a washing machine for 50 minutes. Now the question is, will the S5 survive?
