The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge was first launched in South Korea and Japan. It is now available in the US and will be coming to Germany. So you may be wondering when the device with its edged screen will be available in the UK? The Korean tech giant has just confirmed with The Inquirer that the phablet will be available for pre-order starting today and launch on the 29th of November.
A Samsung spokesperson told the news agency, “Samsung can confirm that the UK is one of the markets that has been chosen to range the Galaxy Note Edge.
“The device will be available to buy from selected retailers from Friday 28th November, with the option to pre-order from Samsung eStore and Carphone Warehouse on Friday 14th November.”
Samsung is yet to confirm pricing.
UK network operators will also offer the Note Edge, specifically Vodafone. The device is now listed in the carrier’s “coming soon” page, but no price nor deal was mentioned.
UK retailers are now accepting pre-orders for the device. Mobicity is asking £649 (inclusive of VAT) for the Note Edge, but does not mention when the device will be delivered to your doorstep. Meanwhile, MobileFun is asking £645 (inclusive of VAT) for the device, but doesn’t mention the device’s delivery date either.
To recap, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge sports almost identical specs as the Galaxy Note 4, apart from the second edged screen. Specs include a 5.6-inch Quad HD screen (1440×2560 pixels), a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, Cat 6 LTE support, 32-64GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 2.7GHz quad-core processor, and 3GB of RAM. It runs Android 4.4 (KitKat) out of the box and the same S Pen stylus just like the Note 4.
