The unique Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is one of the most unique devices to hit the market this year. Sadly, only limited quantities rolled off of the assembly line. Japan was the first market to offer the phablet, but the Korean tech giant remained tight-lipped on which market would get it next. Now, if a leaked document is to believed, the device will soon be available in the US via network operator T-Mobile.
Windows Central‘s tipster sent a photo of the leaked document. It reports, “A tipster just sent us internal T-Mobile documents that peg the release date of the HTC One M8 for T-Mobile as November 9. Right now on T-Mobile you can get a few Windows Phone handsets – the Lumia 530 and the Lumia 635. Both great phones, but certainly no HTC One M8.”
Since Windows Central is all about Windows Phone devices, it did not mention the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. In fact, it encircled the “HTC Windows M8,” which is a version of the HTC One (M8) that runs Windows Phone 8.1. However, if you look at the devices below it, it lists the LG 450, Google Nexus 6 phablet, Google Nexus 9 tablet, and then the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. The devices are listed under the category “Device Launches – Multiple devices Launching in Nov.” So if the leaked document is to be believed, the Note Edge will be available via T-Mobile in the coming weeks, since November is just around the corner.
Previous reports said that the Note Edge would not be arriving in the UK, but a UK retailer said that it would offer the device via other channels. We’re hoping, however, that it does launch in the UK.
