In the UK, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is currently available in four colour options. These include “Blossom Pink,” “Bronze Gold,” “Charcoal Black,” and “Frost White.” In South Korea, Samsung’s home country, one network operator is offering the highly-popular phablet in another colour option – “Velvet Red.”
The listing was revealed by Korean-speaking TwoWorldDirect. The photo shown above shows the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Velvet Red alongside the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A Red and the Samsung Galaxy W Red. The three are being sold under the “Red Collection.” It seems only one network operator in South Korea is offering the colour option, SK Telecom.
It is yet to be determined if the Velvet Red colour option of the Galaxy Note 4 will be available in other markets. It’s likely that it never will, which is disappointment since it does look good in the photo.
Hardware and software-wise, everything else is the same. It comes with a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED screen, an Exynos 5433 octa-core processor, 3 GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera with OIS (optical image stabilisation), a 3.7-megapixel front-facing camera, 32 GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, a heart rate sensor, a fingerprint scanner, LTE connectivity, and a 3220 mAh battery. It runs Android 4.4.4 (KitKat) out of the box, which should be updated to Android 5.0 (Lollipop).
