Before Samsung lifted the lid on the Samsung Galaxy S5 in February, rumours suggested that the Korean tech giant’s new flagship would sport a Quad HD screen. Of course, this didn’t happen so now the attention is now being focused on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, the next iteration of Samsung’s popular phablet. According to Chinese-speaking CNMO, Samsung’s next phablet will have a Quad HD screen.
According to the Chinese report, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will sport a large screen with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels (Quad HD or simply QHD). The report adds that the device will also be water proof and dust proof just like the Galaxy S5. Given Samsung’s trend as of late, we’d actually be surprised if the Note 4 didn’t have some type of IP certification.
So when will Samsung lift the lid on the Galaxy Note 4? The Korean firm is yet to announce when it plans to officially unveil the Note 4, but it’s likely the biggest smartphone manufacturer in the world will introduce its next phablet at IFA 2014 in Berlin in September.
