We’ve seen a couple of leaks, revealing the Samsung Galaxy S6’s metal chassis and plastic case. Now a more recent leak has pictured a running device.
The photos you see above come to us courtesy of Iranian-speaking tech site Toranji.ir. It shows what it claims to be a fully-assembled, software-running Samsung Galaxy S6. Additionally the smartphone is shown in three various colour options.
The photos show us what was rumoured in the past, which is a metal chassis and a fresh design. Samsung is said to re-designing the S6 from the ground up under Project Zero.
Rumoured specs include a 5.2-inch or 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor, and run Android 5.0 (Lollipop) out of the box. According to previous reports, the Korean tech giant’s next flagship will be available in a more premium version that sports an edged screen just like that on the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.
If history repeats itself, Samsung will lift the lid on its next flagship in March at MWC 2015, which kicks off in Barcelona, Spain. However, rumour has it that Samsung is planning to unveil the S6 earlier at CES 2015, which kicks off in Las Vegas this month.
