Leading smartphone case maker Spigen once created renders of the then unannounced Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge clad in their protective cases. The renders showed us what the two looked like, before they were officially unveiled. Now the case maker has created renders of the unannounced Samsung Galaxy Note 5 clad in their protective cases. They are now available for pre-order.
Spigen’s renders of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 reconfirms what we’ve already seen from past renders from other case makers. These include the same design DNA started by the glass- and metal-clad Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. Recent leaked photos of the phablet revealed that there will be a gap that allows users to pull out the S Pen. Past reports suggested that the S Pen would automatically eject by pressing the top of the stylus.
Going back to Spigen’s renders, they show the position of the rear-facing camera and flash, which we’ve already seen from previous renders and leaked photos.
Unfortunately, we can’t confirm if the Note 5 will look like Spigen’s renders, but we can tell you that you won’t have to wait very long to find out if these renders are accurate. Samsung has announced that it will be hosting its Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event on the 13th of August in New York City. At the event, we’re expecting the Note 5 and the S6 Edge Plus (phablet version of the S6 Edge) to make their official debut.
