Earlier we came across renders that show the Samsung Galaxy S7 in protective cases. Now we’ve come across renders that show the Samsung Galaxy S7, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus in protective cases and covers. The renders were leaked by MobileFun (1, 2, & 3). The cases and covers are now available for pre-order from the online retailer.

In the past, alleged Samsung Galaxy S7 CAD renders surfaced online. It is likely that the renders seen above were based on these leaked CAD renders. Although unofficial, if the CAD renders show the real deal, these renders made by case makers could show us what the Galaxy S7, the Galaxy S7 Edge, and the Galaxy S7 Plus will ultimately look like.

To recap, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to feature a 5.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is said to feature a larger 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). The Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus is expected to feature a 6-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). The S7 is said to rock two different CPUs, depending on the region. US and Chinese versions are said to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, while the international version is expected to feature the Exynos 8890 SoC under the hood. The S7 is expected to rock 4 GB of RAM. Its camera combo is said to consist of a new and larger 12-megapixel rear-facing camera that is more ideal in for snapping photos and recording videos in low-light conditions and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for snapping selfies and video chat. Bummed the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge did not feature a microSD card slot? If so, you’ll be happy to know that the S7 series is expected to feature the said feature. If you were disappointed that the S6 and S6 Edge did not come with IP67 certification, you’ll be happy to know that the S7 is rumoured to be dust and water proof.

Samsung is expected to officially announce their next flagship on the 21st of February in Barcelona, Spain and launch the devices in the 11th of March.
