Rumours surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S6 and its edged version the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge have been flooding the internet for the past few weeks, and now SamMobile‘s, a site renowned for leaking accurate information on yet to be revealed Samsung-made device, insiders have a few more details to reveal about the Korean tech giant’s upcoming flagship. Details that we’ve never heard of until now, it promises.
According to SamMobile’s “insider,” the dual edged screens of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge “will be 30 to 50 percent less curved than the Edge display on the Galaxy Note Edge.” This is due to the “smaller size of the handset and because of the volume and power buttons on the sides, and both curves will be completely uniform.”
About the S6’s and S6 Edge’s design, the insider says that the colour of the handsets (front and back) will be the same colour as the camera module. With both sides having the same finish, this suggests that Samsung’s new flagship will be clad in metal “and possibly glass.”
So when do we get to find out if the rumours are true or not? Samsung will be hosting its Unpacked event on the 1st of March at Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona, Spain. We’re expecting to see the S6 and S6 Edge at the trade show.
