Samsung is yet to lift the lid on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus (the phablet version of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge). Despite this, a store in the Middle East has leaked the phablet’s specs.
The Middle Eastern store in question is the Jarir Store, Arabic-speaking Unlimit-Tech reports. According to the repor, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will sport a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (QHD), a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie-centric camera, 32 GB to 64 GB of internal storage, Samsung’s Exynos 7420 64-bit octa-core processor with four cores clocked at 2.1 GHz and four cores clocked at 1.5 GHz, 4 GB of RAM, and a 3,000 mAh battery. It is said to be 6.9 mm thick and weigh in at 156 g. It will run Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) out of the box. Colour options include black and gold.
So when will we get to see the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus make its official debut? Samsung will be hosting Galaxy Unpacked 2015 in New York City on the 13th of August. At the event, we’re expecting the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, the Galaxy Note 5, and a mystery tablet.
