This new leak was sent to PhoneArena by a tipster. According to the leaked Marshmallow update schedule, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be the first to get treated to the latest version of Android with the update now “uploading” and will be available sometime in December. Next in line are the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, the Samsung Galaxy S6, and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. The Marshmallow update for the three is now in the “testing” stages and is expected to roll out to the three sometime in January of 2016. In February of 2016, there are two devices that are scheduled to get Marshmallow. These are the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, with the updates’ status now listed as “approved.” In March of 2016, only one device will get Marshmallow. This is the Samsung Galaxy A8. In April of 2016, a smartphone and a tablet will be updated to Marshmallow. These are the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5.

The following devices are still waiting for their Marshmallow update to get approval, which means it is yet to be determined when Marshmallow will be available for them. Smartphones  include the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, the Samsung Galaxy A5, the Samsung Galaxy A3, the Samsung Galaxy E7, the Samsung Galaxy E5, the Samsung Galaxy J7, the Samsung Galaxy J5, and the Samsung Galaxy J2. Tablets include the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.

Unfortunately, the leaked schedule also reveals the devices that will not get treated to Marshmallow. These include the Samsung Galaxy J1, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and the Samsung Galaxy S4.
