Lollipop update starts rolling out to Samsung Galaxy S5 in Europe

Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) owners, rejoice! The Android 5.0 (Lollipop) update (LRX21T) for the smartphone has begun to roll out in Europe, specifically Poland. It is sure to be available in other countries, including the UK, soon or as you’re reading this.

To check if the OTA update is available for your Galaxy S5, go to Settings > System > About Device > Software update > Update. Alternatively, you can also connect your phone to your computer and update your S5 via Samsung’s Kies software.

Note that if you own an S5 tied down to a network operator, you’re likely to get the update after your network tests their software on the update. If you own a SIM-free device, you are likely to get the Lollipop update before everyone else.
