Lollipop update now rolling out to Samsung Galaxy S5 in South Korea

It looks like we’ll soon have Android 5.0 (Lollipop) running on our Samsung Galaxy S5s, as the update is now rolling out to units in South Korea. The Korean tech giant first rolled out the update to S5 units in Poland.

The news comes to us courtesy of SamMobile. According to the known Samsung insider, Samsung has started to roll out the Lollipop update for the S5 to all major network operators in South Korea. Additionally, it is also available for download via Samsung’s Kies software. The three major carriers in the country, namely KT, SK Telecom and LG Uplus, are all rolling out build number  G900KKTU1BNL2.  The feature list is expected to be the same as the European Galaxy S5.
