We’ve heard the rumours saying the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge will sport metal bodies and 5.1-inch screens. Now, insiders speaking to Bloomberg claim that the Korean tech giant’s next flagship and its edged version will indeed sport metal bodies and 5.1-inch screens.
Bloomberg says that “people with direct knowledge of the matter” are saying that “both phones will have all-metal bodies and use Samsung’s most advanced processor chips.” According to benchmark sites, this will be Samsung’s Exynos 7420 octa-core processor. They also say that “both phones will have 5.1-inch screens.” Lastly, they re-confirm that Samsung will lift the lid on their next flagship at MWC 2015 on the 1st of March in Barcelona, Spain.
The sources add that the smartphones’ metal frame will be manufactured by BYD Electronic International Co., a subsidiary of BYD Co., the Chinese automaker partially owned by Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc.
Of course, since this is anything but official, take it with a pinch of salt.
