French carrier reveals when to expect updates to roll out to Samsung devices

French-speaking Club SFR has leaked a list from French network operator SFR that reveals when to expect updates (KitKat and Lollipop) for a number Samsung-made devices in the country. However, the most notable in the list include the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

According to the list, the Samsung Galaxy S5 in France will get the Lollipop update this month, which we already know since other countries have begun getting the update this December. These countries include Poland and South Korea.

Previous reports said that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 would be getting Lollipop treatment in December as well. However, if the list is to believed, the highly-popular phablet will be getting the update sometime in January of next year. Well, in France at least.

Apart from Lollipop rolling out to the S5 and Note 4, the list also reveals that the Galaxy Mega and Galaxy S4 Zoom will be getting the Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) update. However, the dates haven’t been confirmed yet.

Of course, these update schedules are for Samsung Galaxy devices in France, but since it is a neighboring country, we’re guessing Samsung devices in the UK will get the updates at around the same time.
